Partners of Stella Maris Estate in the early years

Stella Maris Estate, Resort Club & Marina, founded in 1963, are owned and operated by a two generational partner-family multi-national group.

Today, Stella Maris is a small settlement of some 150 homes, plus a handful of small, commercial enterprises. The settlement occupies roughly 3,000 acres, about one third of which is still undeveloped space, ranging from Stella Maris Marina’s west shore across the island to the Atlantic coast.

Stella Maris, as all of Long Island, is unspoiled, completely safe, naturally intact and scenically beautiful. A strong point of its destination attraction and value is the Stella Maris International Airport, assuring convenient air access for both commercial and private aviation - domestic and international.

Its economic bases rest on soft tourism and occasional developments of mostly residential types. Outside investor-entrepreneurial interests are always invited. Future development planning foresees a concept of residential inland harbour creation together with all needed and suitable creature comfort amenities.
